Like a comet
Blazing 'cross the evening sky
Gone too soon
Like a rainbow
Fading in the twinkling of an eye
Gone too soon
Shiny and sparkly
And splendidly bright
Here one day
Gone one night
Like the loss of sunlight
On a cloudy afternoon
Gone too soon
Like a castleBuilt upon a sandy beach
Gone too soon
Like a perfect flower
That is just beyond your reach
Gone too soon
Born to amuse, to inspire, to delight
Here one dayGone one night
Like a sunset
Dying with the rising of the moon
Gone too soon
Gone too soon

Eight-year-old boy for Harrison College
I could not believe my eyes and ears this evening when it was announced on CBC Television that a little eight-year-old will be entering Harrison's College come September. Can you imagine? At eight I was only reading Enid Blyton and Noddy books... I wish him well. I will tell you more tomorrow and post his photo.

Kensington Oval is a dream
On Wednesday I showed a friend some photos of the Kensington Oval I took some time back in 1995, yesterday I went back to the Oval to watch West Indies and England play... Kensington this time is breathtaking - even better than it was for the 2007 World Cup. (more to follow).
